The 1,800-square-metre plot is located on a small slope, with a picturesque view to the northeast. It is a beautiful place, but very open and windy. The solution was to design a round house. The 530-square-metre inner courtyard is always sunny, and is protected from the wind by the building; it is a good place for plants. The courtyard is surrounded by a glass wall, and nature is part of family life in every season. To the northeast, a fully covered terrace contains the exit from the common living space. The house is designed for two. All the main areas are on the first floor. On the ground floor are the boiler room, sauna and guest rooms. The base of the building is made of monolithic reinforced concrete, and the upper structure is based on a glued wood frame.
